Kanawha Stonewall Democrats (KSD), founded in 2008, was established to facilitate the election of Democratic candidates to public office by maximizing Democratic turnout of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community and our allies in elections of both partisan and non-partisan natures and to endorse and help elect candidates who support the goals of KSD.

Membership in the Kanawha Stonewall Democrats is open to all who are interested in the cause of LGBT equality and the promotion of democratic values.
