Mary Fitzgerald, Acting President

Ms. Fitzgerald is a resident of Charleston’s west side. She is on the Executive Committee of Charleston’s Straight and Gay Alliance. Mary has earned an undergraduate degree in Education from Concord College (now University) and a MBA from the University of Charleston.

Charlie Rouse, Treasurer
Mr. Rouse currently represents the Charleston Democratic Executive Committee in the 9th Ward for the City of Charleston. He has been involved with many GLBT civic and social organizations. He is the President of Rainbow Pride of West Virginia and The West Virginia Foundation for Equality.
In addition to his local involvement, Charlie holds a BA in Criminal Justice from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia; and is a corporate trainer for a large national hotel company.

Chris Kimes, Acting Vice President, Secretary
Mr. Kimes is a resident of Charleston’s East End. He has worked with numerous AIDS-related and LGBT agencies in Parkersburg and Morgantown. Chris completed an undergraduate degree in Political Science from West Virginia Wesleyan College and a Masters from WVU. He currently works within the state higher education system.
